Hello Bulldog Families! I'm Bluegrass Middle School Principal Mark Webster.

Welcome to the best middle school in Hardin County - Bluegrass Middle School! Every day,  I am humbled and honored to be the Principal of Bluegrass and it is my sincere pleasure to welcome you, your student and your family into our larger Bulldog Family. We continue to be the fastest-growing middle-school learning community in Hardin County and a place where history is made every day. 

Our mission is to provide high-quality, academically-rigorous, personally-relevant, and literacy-rich learning experiences to every student, every day. Our goals are not modest and we make no apologies for our high expectations as we work to ensure that 100% of our students are reading at or above grade level, 100% of our students are performing math at or above grade level, and 100% of our students have found a place to exercise their unique gifts and talents at BGMS. 

Over the last three years, we have seen incredible growth in all aspects of student performance, from academics to athletics. We have seen dramatic reductions in disciplinary infractions to unprecedented double-digit gains in Reading and Math proficiency. It is clear that our students have embraced the motto of “Bulldogs Make History” and are living that out in a powerful way. I am excited about what will happen in the next school year as we continue to push the boundaries of performance in our quest for student growth.
