Greetings, 8th Grade Families! As we look forward to the upcoming 8th Grade Formal, we want to share a few important reminders to help you prepare. The event will take place on Friday, April 17, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM here at Bluegrass Middle School. Tickets are currently available for $20.00 and may be purchased online through the SchoolCash Online website or in person from Mrs. Rowlett, Ms. Biggs, or Mr. Perry. Please note that ticket sales will conclude on Wednesday, April 15, and students will receive their physical tickets during 6th period on Thursday, April 16.
Additionally, we are thrilled to offer the Bulldog Boutique! Local volunteers are generously donating their time to help students prepare for the formal on April 17 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If your student needs assistance with hair styling, makeup, a haircut, or needs support obtaining formal wear, please complete the Google Form located in the 8th Grade Classroom.

Good afternoon parents. Yearbooks are available after Spring Break for in-person ordering for $40. Students can see Mr. Fuller to preorder their yearbooks. Cash will be accepted, as well as, checks made to Bluegrass Middle School. In May, Yearbooks will be available for final ordering for $50. So get your Yearbook now and save some money!
Our PTO is excited to celebrate the amazing staff at BGMS during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8, 2026)!
They are collecting donations to create a special raffle with something for each staff member. If you'd like to contribute, please send donations with your student or drop them off at the front office for Mrs. Frye.

Good Afternoon Bluegrass Middle School families, this is principal Mark Webster. Just wanted to give you an update on our earlier phone call. As of 3:20 this afternoon we received word that it was safe to bring students back into the building. Ultimately, the cause of our concerns this afternoon was a short in one of the hot water heaters in our mechanical room. We have since let the students back into the building, they picked up their things and they are being dismissed as we speak. We apologize for the inconvenience of the late bus runs that are occurring but student safety is always our first priority. We appreciate your cooperation, patience, and support. Because of our delays unfortunately some of John Hardin’s bus routes will run late as well.
As always we appreciate our school resource officer, the school resource officers and administration of John Hardin High School, and the Radcliff Fire Department for their quick response to our issues. Have a great day, go bulldogs!

BGMS Cheerleading Informational Meeting
