We are excited to invite our upcoming 6th graders and their families to 5th Grade Transition Night at BGMS Thursday, April 30, 2026. This event is designed to help students and parents learn more about the middle school experience and what to expect as students begin this important next step.
During the evening, you will have the opportunity to meet staff, learn about academic expectations, explore extracurricular opportunities, and ask any questions you may have. Our goal is to ensure that all students feel confident, prepared, and excited to start their journey at BGMS.
We look forward to welcoming our future Bulldogs!

A collection bin has been placed at each school in the district. Students, staff, families, parents and community members are encouraged to bring items that would help bring a smile to senior citizens. The collection drive will last from April 21 to May 5, 2026. Go to the News and Announcements section of www.hardin.kyschools.us for a list of items and for more information.

One in five cases now involve AI-generated photos. Your child doesn't even have to send anything to become a victim.
Detective Mike Lemon, who has investigated these crimes for 16 years, shows parents that predators all use the same playbook: embarrassment, fear of arrest, and physical threats.
